The second annual Twin Ports Music Festival runs Aug. 18-19 on the Earth Rider Festival Grounds. Acclaimed blues guitarist Ana Popovic and Twin Cities-based folk songwriters the Cactus Blossoms headline this year’s festival. The Cactus Blossoms, Them Coulee Boys, Feed the Dog and Feeding Leroy perform on Friday. Ana Popovic, the Big Wu, Frogleg and Katy Guillen & the Drive perform on Saturday. The annual Twin Ports music festival comes to Superior at the Cedar Lounge and Earth Rider Brewery Festival Field with live music on both stages. Haley has been making music since high school, when her first of many records was self-released before graduation. Her first punk band was called Frankie Horseshit, and a decade later she founded the punk/new wave band Gramma's Boyfriend, which she is the front woman and main songwriter for. Haley has published short stories and poetry, produced all of her nine full-length LPs, and self-recorded, produced and released five EPs. Willem Dafoe Fan Club opens the show.

Atmosphere brings its Tour de Friends Part Trois tour to the Earth Rider Brewery Festival Grounds in Superior. Atmosphere is a hip-hop duo from the cities made up of rapper Slug and D.J. Ant. Slug creates masterful storytelling while paying homage to the rappers and songwriters who shaped him and Ant molds the soundtracks with inspiration from soul, funk, rock, reggae and the wizardry of hip-hop.
