The Twin Ports' Harbor City Roller Derby team competes against the Minneapolis North Star Roller Derby team. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the first whistle blows at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door and kids under age 12 get in for free with a paid adult. An after party will be held at the Superior Flame following the competition.

Chancellor Renée Wachter will preside over the University of Wisconsin-Superior's commencement, presenting diplomas to students who have earned associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The 10th annual Operation K-9 highlights the work of K-9s from five area law-enforcement agencies. K-9 teams from the Duluth, Hermantown and Superior police departments and the St. Louis County and Douglas County sheriff’s offices will join forces, demonstrating their abilities. The event will be held on the track behind Wessman Arena. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.; K-9 demonstrations are from 5 to 7:30.
