The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department will present renowned performers Michael Fuchs, baritone; and Teresa Vaughan, piano, for its University Recital Series. The concert will feature Robert Schumann’s beloved song cycle, Dichterliebe (Poet’s Love), the rarely heard Four Songs on Chinese Poetry by Pavel Haas and two pieces by contemporary American composers H. UW-Superior Music Department is hosting the Ragtime Rendezvous with jazz pianist Stephanie Trick. A classically trained pianist, Trick began playing piano at the age of five. During the time between her beginning years and high school, her piano teacher exposed her to early jazz, and the syncopation and swinging rhythm piqued her interest. While in college, it became clear to Trick that she wanted to pursue stride and classic jazz styles professionally.
