The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department presents its Jazz Band with the Big Time Jazz Orchestra in a special scholarship concert — proceeds from the concert will go toward a scholarship for a UW-Superior music major for excellence in jazz studies. UW-Superior will feature select artwork from its students Nov. 16 to Dec. 15 in its Kruk Gallery, located in the Holden Fine Arts Center. This exhibition highlights the incredible talents coming from UW-Superior. All mediums will be represented and students do not have to be art majors to participate. This year’s jurors are Stacie Renne and Janelle Miller of Warrior Printress, an award-winning print shop in Duluth.
