The four-mile loop of the Superior Hiking Trail at Brewer Park showcases views of West Duluth and the St. Louis River from the ridgeline and slips easily into a forest of maple and oak where one can find a variety of plants, critters and natural features. The Superior Hiking Trail in the Duluth area requires more than 2,000 hours of maintenance each year. Volunteers are needed to assist with this work. Tasks will range from building structures and digging new trails to lopping brush and lighter maintenance. Those interested should keep an eye on the Registration Page, as more dates will be added.
