Finlandia Foundation Northland invites all interested in Finnish culture to celebrate Finnish Juhannus – Midsummer at Sampo Beach. The holiday of Juhannus - Midsummer is Finland's main national holiday and is recognized each June with celebrations all over the country. The event features live Finnish music, saunas, swimming, traditional and contemporary Finnish activities,Finnish snacks and tables of Finnish treasures.

Sampo is hosting their yearly fundraiser. Enjoy a bowl of Mojakka "Finnish beef stew" with bread and sauna and swim for for free. The celebration also features live music with Dick Reese, raffles, baked goods and gently used items for sale. Meals are $15 for adults, $8 for kids under eight and $20 for Mojakka to-go.
