The city of Rice Lake is hosting six vendor markets in 2024, supporting local crafters, farmers, hobbyists and artisans. The markets take place on the fourth Saturdays and fourth Tuesdays in June, July and August. There is a new playground at the park for children to play while the adults shop.

Doucette's Party Rental hosts the Northland's Longest Obstacle Course, which includes 200 feet of obstacles, a toddler playland, bounce house, food trucks and more. Parking at the event is free. During the event, attendees can check out the brand new Rice Lake City Playground. Entry is $20 for an all-day wristband, $10 for children 5 and under and $3 for a one-time ticket. If the weather is bad, the rain date is set for Sunday, July 21.
