The H.O.T.D.I.S.H. Militia raises money through its bake-off event to support access to reproductive health care, including abortion at the WE Health Clinic. H.O.T.D.I.S.H. is an acronym for Hand Over The Decision It'S Healthcare. People may enter their favorite hotdishes for the chance to win best hotdish. Or, they may just come to eat. Duluth Community Garden Program's Plant and Seed Sale is a fundraiser for the organization. Purchases directly support community gardening in Duluth accessible to all. Transplants grown by Fairhaven Farm and a variety of high-quality seeds will be offered. This year, thanks to a grant from Essentia Health, plants will be sold on a sliding scale. Every year, the H.O.T.D.I.S.H. (hand over the decision, it's healthcare) Militia gathers Minnesotans to eat homemade tatortot dishes and celebrate equitable abortion access in our community. Last year, they had a record turnout with over 100 people attending, and 40 hotdishes entered in the bake-off.
