Prescription Drug Turn-In
Oct. 29 is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. It's a day aimed at reminding people of the importance of safely disposing of unused and expired medications. The Christmas City of the North Parade has been an annual holiday tradition in Duluth for six decades. Grant-in-aid Snowmobile Trails Close
The statutory end of the snowmobile riding season on grant-in-aid trails is midnight, March 31, when permits with private landowners expire. Snowmobile trails remain open on public land while weather and snow conditions permit. Riders should be aware that trail grooming operations will cease when conditions are too warm to effectively groom. The Clover Valley Farm Trail is a co-operative group of locally-owned, small farms located in or near Clover Valley, a farming community between Duluth and Two Harbors. The farms offer a variety of produce, plant seedlings, baked goods, crafts and other items sold from self-serve farm stands.
