T. Mychael Rambo performs the story of his life and career in word and song in Present! Through a mix of songs in various styles, the performance explores his journey as he overcomes homelessness, addiction and personal injury to find success as a performer and teacher/mentor to youth throughout Minnesota. This show includes five one-person plays written and performed by University of Minnesota Duluth students. They include biographical, autobiographical and fictional stories, plus literary adaptations. Directed by Tom Isbell. The performance on Sunday, March 20, will include American Sign Language interpretation.

Known for Stephen Schwartz’s score and Bob Fosse’s original direction, Pippin explores what makes a meaningful life. Guest director Dennis Johnson, choreography by Matthew Wagner. The performance April 24 at 2 p.m. will include American Sign Language interpretation.

UMD Theatre's production of Stupid F##king Bird is headed to the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, but first, there is one more on-campus performance. "Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812" was adapted from the novel War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy. The book, music, and lyrics by the celebrated composer Dave Malloy. The electropop opera is based on a scandalous slice of Tolstoy’s “War and Peace.” Natasha, a beautiful (and betrothed) ingénue visiting Moscow, is seduced by the dashing (and married) Anatole.
