The Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Duluth, along with the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce, will hold a ribbon cutting at the Lincoln Park Community Center to celebrate the completion of the Warming Center for people experiencing homelessness during winter months. Main Street Lincoln Park launches the Lincoln Park Art Walk with this kickoff event. The walk is a way to experience public art in Lincoln Park. Using on-site information plates and QR codes for more in-depth stories and maps of mural locations, people can guide themselves through the free street gallery while learning about the artists involved and how each mural came to be. The Minnesota Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting to discuss the I-35/Mesaba Avenue pedestrian bridge project.
