Friends of the Lakewalk invite volunteers to help clean up the Duluth Lakewalk from 43rd Avenue East to Kitchi Gammi Park. The group will meet at the Lakewalk Lester River Bridge, located at East Superior Street at the junction of South 61st Avenue East and Lester River Road. Adjacent parking is available. A fundraiser to support the work of the team at Legal Aid Service of Northeastern Minnesota (LASNEM). The 5K will begin and end at Lester Park Trails and Playground in Duluth. The course follows Lester River Road and returns to Lester Park for a post-race gathering with refreshments and tours of LASNEM's Justice Bus. Registration includes a Law Day 5K t-shirt. Those who can't join in person can still participate in the event by selecting the virtual option.
