Lake Superior Art Glass’ Great Pumpkin Hunt 2022
Lake Superior Art Glass presents its third-annual Great Pumpkin Hunt, an all-ages event in which 10 custom-made glass pumpkins are hidden throughout Duluth. Clues of each pumpkin’s whereabouts are posted every 45 minutes beginning at 9 a.m. until each pumpkin is found. To ensure that everyone has a fair chance to get their own, the pumpkins will be hidden all across the city, from the west-end to Lakeside.

In this privately instructed class for couples at Lake Superior Art Glass, participants can create a glass goblet, a stem for a traditional wine glass, champagne flute, or martini glass with a Valentine's twist. Spots are limited, yet numerous with multiple class times available. Pickup of completed glass happens the next day as participant couples will be able to reminisce about this unique opportunity for years to come. Design Your Own Duck
Lake Superior Art Glass presents its first-ever Design Your Own Duck activity, with 5 percent of every duck purchase donated to Wildwoods Rehabilitation. Design Your Own Custom Candle
This month, Lake Superior Art Glass is teamed up with Naturalight Candles in Canal Park to create a designer event. Attendees can design their own candle with artists, choose a scent, and pick up a complete candle in a few days. Naturalight candles are hand poured using soybean wax, cotton wicks, and the fragrance and/or essential oils available to create a clean-burning, eco-friendly candle. Candle makers can book back-to-back timeslots if they want to design candles together with a friend.

Alan Honn contributed to the Minnesota glassblowing community and helped educate many with his use of the material. Guests can expect massive gobs of glass dripping onto large bubbles to see final shapes that "seem to take on an effortless flow." Organizers recommend bringing a chair along to sit and watch. Design a Custom Blown-Glass Pumpkin
Participants in this Lake Superior Art Glass event design a blown-glass pumpkin by picking the color, stem shade and ridge style. They watch as master glassblowers breathe life into a custom piece. Design your own ornament throughout the month of November. Watch a demo where molten glass twists, turns, and transforms. With your vision as their guide, shop artisans will then twirl and shape the fiery liquid into your chosen masterpiece. The ornaments need to anneal in the kiln overnight and will be ready for pickup after 3:30 the following day.
