The Humane Society of Douglas County, Inc.'s is doing an anti-Valentine's Day fundraising campaign called Love Stinks from January 29 - February 14. During this event, a $5 donation can purchase as many poo-hearts as you wish. Our staff will write the name of your “un-special” person, place or thing on a heart that will be placed in our shelter kitties’ litter boxes for stinky retribution.
