Public Meeting on Proposed Alternatives for London Road / Highway 61 Project
The Minnesota Department of Transportation is hosting two public meetings to discuss proposed alternatives for the London Road / Highway 61 project through Duluth. Explore the grounds of Glensheen Mansion with the backdrop of a Lake Superior sunset via snowshoe on Wednesdays from Jan. 18 to Feb. 22. Check out the wooded area next to Bent Brook and explore the shoreline via old-school wooden snowshoes. Glensheen has some snowshoes available for use, but participants should bring their own if they have them. The route may also be walked in snow boots if preferred.

Glensheen Mansion offers guided, 45-minute tours lit by guides carrying lanterns. All tickets include a tour, access to the grounds, free s’mores (while supplies last) and a souvenir Glensheen flashlight.
