The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be holding an information meeting about culvert construction work occurring on Highway 23 in western Duluth. Culverts at US Steel Creek and Gogebic Creek will be replaced starting in July. A recording of information discussed will be available on the project website following the meeting. Come celebrate Lights on Afterschool at the Happily Haunted Hike. This family event is a collaboration between the YMCA, Stowe School and the Gary-New Duluth Rec Center. Costumed families get to follow the lighted luminaries through the Stowe School Forest and "trick or treat" from bins of treats donated by local businesses and individuals.
