Spend a day outside with Cindy Hale learning how to identify common mushrooms that are useful in natural dyeing. Students will then learn the process of cooking dye vats using mushrooms. A selection of dye vats will be pre-made for the dyeing section of the class. Each participant will get to dye at least one sample skein of yarn.
