Attend a beginner mushroom class with a guided hike to put the learned skills to practice. The class covers the basics of mushroom foraging in the Midwest. You will learn general mushroom information, edible mushrooms, toxic mushrooms, how to come to identifications and how to confidently continue learning. Join Minnesota Master Naturalists for an afternoon of canoeing and kayaking. All are welcome. Park at the main lot just outside the gate and meet at the Wolfski Welcome Center. Participants should bring their own craft, paddles and life jackets if they have them. There will be 5 canoes, 4 kayaks, PFDs and paddles available for those without a watercraft. (Boulder Lake ELC will have you sign a waiver if you borrow one of theirs). Canoe trollies are also available…
