"Big Wave" Dave Adams sings and growls about the best of times, the worst of times, and some forgotten times. Backed by a rhythm section, two background singers and a four-piece horn section, he belts out a blend of funk, soul, blues and rock. This show will be held on the plaza outside Yellowjacket Union on the University of Wisconsin-Superior campus. Attendees may bring lawn chairs, snacks and beverages. Volunteers from the local Red Cross chapter will join UW-Superior staff from several departments throughout the day. Hands-only CPR and Honor Flight card-writing will occur from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union, and an exhibit titled “Refugee for 60 Minutes” takes place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room.
