Arrowhead Chorale's spring concert features the world premiere of a new setting of Messiah: An American Oratorio, by Los Angeles-based composer Severin Behnen, dedicated to the victims of torture in the 21st century. Performances are March 26 at 7:30 p.m. and March 27 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students and children under age 17.

To celebrate the wonders of Johann Sebastian Bach's music, the Arrowhead Chapter of the American Guild of Organists will provide an evening in concert, catered reception and silent auction hosted at First Lutheran Church in Duluth. 50% of funds raised will go towards the Arrowhead Chapter of the America Guild of Organists' growing scholarship fund for new and continuing organ students.

Hibbing native Jeff Halper delivers a talk concerning the situation in Israel and Palestine and the potential for a one-state solution. Halper is an Israeli-American anthropologist, director of the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions, and a founding member of the Palestine-led One Democratic State Campaign. Halper has served on the United Nations Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People.
