The 5K will begin and end at the Duluth East High School parking lot. The Children's Organ Transplant Association along with the Duluth-Superior community has organized a walk for Roya Snyder, a 1st grader at Lester Park Elementary who recently received a life-saving heart transplant in February. Throughout Roya’s lifetime, she will need numerous follow-up clinic visits, anti-rejection medications and possibly additional transplants. Roya’s heart transplant-related expenses continue to be incurred even though her transplant has already happened.
