Dr. Brett Jones, Rachael Kresha, Zoe Scherer and more kick off the first concert of the Sanctus Series. Selections range from the simple grounded prayer of "Ringing in the Fields" by Urmas Sisask to the celestial sounds of "Song of the Angel" by John Tavener. Featuring collaborations with family and friends, Brett Jones ties together original works, new arrangements, and a world premiere. Free will offerings are accepted while entering the event.

The finest professional big band musicians from the greater region will be playing swing, Latin American, ballad, hip hop, and soundscape stylings from numerous bands. Compositions include works from Duke Ellington, Buddy Rich, Maria Schneider, Oliver Nelson, Radiohead, and Horace Silver. All proceeds go to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Sacred Heart of Jesus Conference, Superior. The concert will be held in the lower-level Kress Hall.

These sonatas were completed around 1676, but were published in the 19th century. The works feature violin solos accompanied by organ continuo.
