Youth Pottery: Coiled Clay Creations with Liz Vandersteen
Event Navigation
This two-part Duluth Art Institute class is designed for students ages 7-14. The class explores the possibilities of coil building in ceramics. The group starts with instruction on making a simple coil bowl and takes off from there.
Because finished projects will need to be kiln-fired upon completion, a pick-up date of finished projects will be provided.
Partial and full scholarships are available on a first-come first-served basis. Email Emma at espooner @ duluthartinstitute.org to inquire about registering with a scholarship.
The two sessions are held on Saturdays, Sept. 17 and 24, from noon to 2 p.m. The cost is $50 for Duluth Art Institute members and $60 for non-members. Register online at duluthartinstitute.org.
Proof of vaccination is required to participate in this class. On the first day of class students must present their vaccine card or a copy of it and a form of identification. Masks will be required.
