Wisconsin Point Spring Beach Cleanup

The fourth annual Wisconsin Point Spring Beach Cleanup is organized by Friends of the Lake Superior Reserve, in partnership with the city of Superior. The reserve adopted Wisconsin Point in 2021 and strives to keep the beach as healthy and pristine as can be.

Volunteers are invited to help by removing garbage. Participants are asked to come to Lot 1 to be assigned a work area. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required.

Dressing for the weather is recommended. Sturdy footwear, preferably boots, are best for keeping feet dry in damp areas. Be prepared for rain. The event will be rescheduled if hazardous weather is predicted.

Safety vests, garbage bags, gloves, hand sanitizer, masks and modest snacks and water will be provided. There will even be a prize for whoever finds the most interesting piece of trash.
