Event Navigation

Embrace the magic of winter on a snowshoe walk. This one-mile snowshoe walk is on a fairly easy trail. There will be a short hill or two. This activity is appropriate for a wide range of ages and abilities. There is a a range of sizes for snowshoes to borrow. Most kids under four usually just walk in their boots, but they can try out our preschool-size snowshoes if they wish. Sleds are allowed if you want to pull someone along. Wear clothes that will keep you warm and dry. Winter boots are recommended. Wear layers of clothes. Bring a hat and mittens, neck gator or scarf and a water bottle. Some people use hiking sticks or ski poles to assist with balance.
