Wild Teaching and Learning: Autumn Harvest and Animal Signs
Event Navigation
Wild Teaching and Learning is a series of nature-based learning experiences that center on themes of current seasonal happenings in Duluth MN and compares these findings to phenology at Voyageurs National Park. Sessions are designed for educators, though all adults are welcome to attend.
The November session will look closely at the changing ecosystem as many plants turn dormant. Participants explore the trails around Bagley Pond to see what plants are harvestable and what animals are doing to prepare for the winter. There will be trail games, tea making and a fire at the Rock Hill Overlook.
Cost per session: $15 Scholarships available. For questions or scholarship requests email [email protected]
