West Duluth Business Club Lunch Meeting

The West Duluth Business Club meets on the second Wednesday of each month in Mr. D’s banquet room. James Gittemeier, senior transportation planner for the city of Duluth, will be this month’s guest speaker.
There are major multimodal transportation investments that are in the works for West Duluth over the next 10 years, from the DTA Bus Rapid Transit Spirit Valley hub to the I-35 Thompson Hill reconstruction, from the Grand Avenue road work to the planned completion of the Cross City Trail and its connections with the surrounding neighborhoods. Each one of these projects will go through its own planning and design process, but it’s not too early to begin a commercial district-wide discussion on these projects.
The cost to attend is the price of food ordered off the luncheon menu.
The mission of the West Duluth Business Club is to foster and provide a common voice for business and civic groups toward the advancement of the commercial, social, civic and environmental interests of the western area of Duluth. For more information email wdbc1902 @ gmail.com.
