The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department presents Hector Landa, assistant professor of piano, for its University Recital Series.
The program begins with Mexican music, featuring the works of a diverse group of composers. Landa presents a composition written by French composer Luc Ferrari, a suite of 36 miniatures written for piano and a recorded track. Ferrari mixes references to Bach, Brahms, Liszt and Schumann with avant-garde language.
Tickets are $15 for adults, and $12 for seniors and students.
