The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department presents pianist Alexander Sandor as part of its Faculty Recital series.
From the “exuberantly romantic” Frederick Chopin to “an epic piano solo arrangement” of the music from “Rocky IV,” the evening features an eclectic mix of music. Additionally, Sandor performs popular music from the 1930s, and the world premiere of a new chamber piece accompanied by UW-Superior’s Melanie Sever, flute, and Betsy Husby, cello.
