UUCD Forums: St Mark’s Giving Garden

The St. Mark Giving Garden is a food justice project building intergenerational and community connection, racial equity, healing and empowerment in the Duluth Hillside neighborhood, a partnership between St. Mark AME Church and Health Equity Northland. Interns from St. Mark Giving Garden will take attendees on a virtual tour of the Garden’s herb, produce and pollinator beds, utilities and social spaces, sharing gardening knowledge they have acquired in areas such as intercropping, harvesting and processing of herbs. Speakers include interns Jayna Brown, Zaakir Hassan, Savannah Kunshier, Sterling Trok and Austin Konrath.
