Duluth Folk School teaches how to make challah and babka.
Challah is a central part of every Jewish Shabbat observance and babka is its sweet chocolatey cousin.
Participants will get hands-on experience mixing, kneading and braiding their own loaves of babka and challah and learn about the traditions behind them.
Skill Level/Prerequisite Skills: No previous experience required
Best for Age: 7 and older, 15 and under requires an adult to participate
You should bring: An apron
