Trans Joy Fest 2023

The second annual Trans Joy Fest aims to infuse love, hope and joy into the trans community. This community event will feature music, art, food, healing practices, education and much more.  Activities will be led by and centered upon trans, two spirit and gender non-conforming people in the Twin Ports.

All day free activities include a kids area with craft stations, a Plinko board with prizes, games, “Love Your Selfie” photo booth, a free clothing exchange, art making, and 25+ vendors.

Everyday, trans and gender non-conforming folks struggle to survive in this community and beyond. Whether considering the constant legislative attacks on freedoms or the epidemic levels of violence committed against trans people, largely BIPOC trans people, the community is in need of care, support, and joy. It is in response to this state of things, that Trans Joy Fest came to be planned by community members and allies.
