Head out with a naturalist on a one-mile snowshoe walk to discover Jay Cooke State Park in winter.

Adult and children’s snowshoes available to borrow. Contact Park Naturalist Kris Hiller at 218-673-7005 or kris.hiller @ state.mn.us to register. Although programs are free, a Minnesota State Park vehicle permit is needed to enter the park — they can be purchased upon arrival. All programs meet at the River Inn Visitor Center.

Warm clothes, boots, hats, gloves, water and other helpful winter-hiking items are recommended.
