TNT HiFi Taproom Paddle Splash Featuring the CSS Steel Pan Band

The College of Saint Scholastica Steel Band plays for a night dedicated to the musicality and resilience of calypso music and culture. Social hour at 6 p.m. and food from Howards Que BBQ.

Celebrate the rich history of the steel pan (also known as steel drums) that was created in Trinidad and Tobago in the 1930s. It was established in contexts of Carnival resistance, its history being traced back to the enslaved Africans who were brought to the Caribbean in the 1700s.
