In this combination of a concert and theatrical play, Annie Ragsdale tells a story about “the ultimate quest for a dream during a time of grief, loss and love.”
Ragsdale has been living in New York City for almost 20 years and during that time a soundtrack has played in her mind. It turned into an album and somewhere along the way became a play.
Before moving to New York, Ragsdale lived in Duluth, frequently playing her original tunes at local coffee houses, Sir Ben’s, the University of Minnesota Duluth campus and more. The sets included a mash-up of Loretta Lynn and Snoop Dog.
She recently sold out The Three Chord Wonder at the same venue in New York City where Mason Jennings plays.
