Zenith Bookstore hosts Peter Geye in conversation with Linda LeGarde Grover, presenting his new novel The Ski Jumpers.
Geye is author of the award-winning novels Safe from the Sea, The Lighthouse Road, Wintering (winner of the Minnesota Book Award) and Northernmost. He teaches the year-long Novel Writing Project at the Loft Literary Center. Born and raised in Minneapolis, he lives there with his family.
LeGarde Grover is professor of American Indian studies at the University of Minnesota Duluth and a member of the Bois Forte Band of Ojibwe. Her books include Gichigami Hearts: Stories and Histories from Misaabekong (the One Book Northland read for 2022), The Road Back to Sweetgrass, Onigamiising: Seasons of an Ojibwe Year (winner of the 2018 Minnesota Book Award for Memoir and Creative Nonfiction), In the Night of Memory, Dance Boots and The Sky Watched.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required to attend this event, as is the wearing of face masks over nose and mouth.
