The Loyola Project Movie Screening and Panel Discussion

The Loyola Project is a documentary film about the 1963 Loyola Ramblers and the racial barriers they overcame on the way to a national championship. The screening is sponsored by the UMD Department of Athletics Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council, Black Men Serving Excellence, UMD Office of Diversity & Inclusion, and Northwestern Mutual.
A panel discussion will be hosted after the movie featuring Bulldog Hall of Fame member Harry Oden (men’s basketball), alum Yusuf Abdullah (men’s basketball) and UMD student-athletes Joshua Brown and Isaiah Watts. The panel will be moderated by Azrin Awal from the UMD Office of Diversity & Inclusion.
