Join UMD’s Women’s Resource and Action Center for the oldest worldwide movement to stand against sexual violence. The first Take Back the Night rally was held in Germany in 1973, in response to a series of sexual assaults, rapes and murders. In recognition of the vulnerability that women feel at night, this event is a call to empower survivors of violence, strengthen our communities and increase awareness.
