Superior’s fireworks display and Barker’s Island events have been postponed due to rain. The rescheduled date has not been announced.
Superior’s 25th annual Fourth of July Celebration features live music by Born Too Late at 6 p.m. and PopRocks! at 8:15 p.m. Fireworks are at 10 p.m.
The city of Superior encourages all attending festivities on Barker’s Island to consider walking or riding a bicycle onto the island. Automobile traffic will become backed up after the fireworks. Those who must drive should consider carpooling. There is on-street parking available in all surrounding neighborhoods.
