State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., hosts the National Football League’s 57th annual Super Bowl between the NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles and the AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs. The Duluth-area broadcast will be on the Fox network affiliate KQDS-TV channel 21.1.
Rihanna will perform during the halftime show. Pregame entertainment includes Chris Stapleton singing the national anthem, Babyface singing “America the Beautiful,” and Sheryl Lee Ralph singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
Sign-language interpreters are Troy Kotsur (national anthem), Colin Denny (“America the Beautiful”) and Justina Miles (“Lift Every Voice and Sing”). Miles will also provide the sign-language interpretation of the halftime show.
To commemorate 50 years of women flying in the U.S. Navy, the service will conduct a flyover of State Farm Stadium during the national anthem with women aviators as part of the formation. The formation will be composed of an F-35C Lightning II from the “Argonauts” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 147, two F/A-18F Super Hornets from the “Flying Eagles” of VFA-122, and an EA-18G Growler from the “Vikings” of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 129.
