Summer Solstice Block Party

The parking lot between Zenith Bookstore and Wussow’s Concert Cafe is the primary location of this Summer Solstice Block Party, but some activities are spread out along the 300 block of Central Avenue in West Duluth.

Acclaimed Duluth musician Gaelynn Lea will be performing, as will Steve’s Overpopulated One-Man Band, John Seguin and the Bluewater Big Band.

There will be food, a free movie at the West Theatre, and family fun activities including Animal Story Time, Henna tattoos, tarot deck readings, face painting and kids’ crafts.

Groups and businesses supporting and participating in the festivities are: Annex, Discount Mattress & Furniture Duluth, Jade Fountain, Kenwood Farms, Northland Health Equity, Peach Tattoo, Rambler Food Truck, West Theatre, Wussow’s Concert Cafe and Zenith Bookstore. Also supporting is The North 103.3.
