“Stories of Resilience” Video Premiere

AICHOs’ Giinawiind Giginitaawigi’gomin (Together We Grow) Youth Program invites everyone to attend the Duluth premiere short film/video presentation of “Stories of Resilience”. This Indigenous Food Sovereignty Youth Program has been working on this video project for a few years and want to share their Stories of Resilience with the community. Giinawiind youth have interviewed spiritual elders, food producers and knowledge holders to create this piece which provides us with short lessons and teachings that are important to the youths’ resilience. They worked with In-Progress, a small non-profit that provides opportunities for artists of all ages to develop their skills as digital storytellers and leaders through the use of photography, video and music.
