Learn about the progress made this past year toward delisting the St. Louis River as an area of concern. The upcoming year’s focus will be on Spirit Lake cleanup. Learn about the project and ask questions.
There will be food, a cash bar and conversation with local Area of Concern coordinators. The keynote speaker will be sharing updates on the Spirit Lake Cleanup.
This event is hosted by the St. Louis River Alliance, on behalf of the St. Louis River Area of Concern coordinating organizations: the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Funding is provided by the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.
