Spirit Lake Poetry Series features Kemi Alabi. Their poetry collection Against Heaven (Graywolf, 2022) was chosen by Claudia Rankine as the Academy of American Poets First Book Award winner.
Interested readers can pick up their copy ahead of time at Zenith Books, or on the night of the event at Prøve Gallery in downtown Duluth.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for mingling and refreshments, and poetry begins at 7 p.m.
