All events for Social Waltzing for Absolute Beginners

Duluth Folk School teaches a beginner class on "cross-step" waltzing. Cross-step is a bit different than the more technically-demanding ballroom waltzes. Cross-step waltz is faster to learn, less formal and are more fitted for dancing socially. In this class, participants learn the basics of social waltzing, including how to hear and move to waltzing music, how to do this in partnership with someone else and the basic tenets of social partner dancing.
