Small Business Saturday at Zenith Bookstore is a time to celebrate the community, local authors and independent bookstores. The event includes free cookies and Mike & Jen’s hot cocoa, and an advance reader copy giveaway.
Two local authors will be on hand to sign books:
1 to 3 p.m. – Gerald J. Niemi, author of The Breeding Birds of Minnesota (1 – 3 pm)
3 to 5 p.m. – Anna Faro Henderson, author of Core Samples
This year, 10% of sales on Small Business Saturday will go to support the WE Health Clinic for its work in support of reproductive and sexual health care. WE Health Clinic is the only abortion provider in northern Minnesota, northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It has been providing sexual, reproductive and abortion services since 1981.
