Sing, Play, Read: Musical Storytime

Children can engage with books through song, dance, instrument play and follow-up activities based on a story. This week: “Ada’s Violin: The Story of the Recycled Orchestra of Paraguay.” Children can make their own instrument out of recycled materials. Some materials will be provided and children are encouraged to bring materials like cardboard boxes, cans, cartons, string and any other things that they may want to use to build their own instrument. Best for ages 6-10. Children should bring their own pair of scissors. Adults are welcome to stay onsite during class.
