Sharpening for Spoon Carvers

This class will focus on the basic techniques of stropping and using sharpening stones for both carving knives and hook knives. Instructors will talk about blade geometry and maintaining a proper cutting edge.

This introduction to sharpening is for spoon carving tools but the techniques could be applied to other tools and implements generally.
