Scarium at the Aquarium 2024
Event Navigation
During Scarium at the Aquarium, guests explore a spookily-decorated Great Lakes Aquarium, visiting trick-or-treat stations among the exhibits and showing off their creative costumes. In addition to exploring the aquarium, guests can participate in a variety of themed activities like building a paper chain snake, boo-gying at the Discovery Center dance party, and watching scuba divers compete in underwater pumpkin carving.
Great Lakes Aquarium participates in the Teal Pumpkin Project, which means that no edible treats are provided during trick-or-treating.
The three-day event runs Oct. 22-24. Great Lakes Aquarium will close early to the public at 3 p.m. on each of these days and reopen at 4 p.m. to pre-registered Scarium at the Aquarium guests.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $16 for youth (ages 13-17), and free for children under 12. Aquarium members can also attend for free, but pre-registration is still required.
For more information and to register visit glaquarium.org/scarium. Admission and parking for
Aquarium members is always free. Standard rates apply to general admission guests.
