Rubber Chicken’s New Year’s Cluckin’ Eve
Event Navigation
Rubber Chicken Theater presents this original sketch-comedy show poking fun at local, regional and national issues. Some sketches will be reprised from the recent holiday revue, but some will be new. There will also be live musical performances (including Steven Solkela’s accordion-wielding overpopulated one-man orchestra from Virginia), New Year’s resolutions from local celebrities and surprise cameos.
There will also be prize giveaways. Prize sponsors include WDIO-TV, Holy Cow! Press, Raise the Barr Dance School, Art on the Planet/Wine Expressions, Little Piece Kreations and Light in the Woods Woodcrafts.
Tickets are $20 per person. Beer, wine and themed drinks are available from the Boat Club Restaurant.
Out of respect for performers, cast and crew, Rubber Chicken asks that only vaccinated individuals attend the show and that they also wear masks and observe physical distancing guidelines. Performers will be masked offstage, but will not be wearing them onstage.
Rubber Chicken’s New Year’s Cluckin’ Eve is hosted by Rubber Chicken co-founder Brian Matuszak, and features the onstage talents of Ben Churchill, Jeremy Churchill, Madison Grimsbo, Kyleigh Grimsbo, Tate Haglund-Pagel, Maria Lockwood, Kaylee Matuszak, Chris Nollet and Joel Youngblom. Jadie Schwarzkopf handles the technical elements and Linda Bray is the piano accompanist.
